Hi, I'm Kody.

I'm a graphic designer turned web developer and agile manager.

I have spent over ten years working in the creative sector, with specialisation in both brand and web. For many of these years I focussed on WordPress based builds, however I always wanted to get more into the technical side of things. Over the past few years I retrained as a full-stack developer, and upskilled through agile training and management.

From there I was employed by Developers Institute as the Learner Success Team Lead. This role involved leading a team of Junior Trainers, using agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of learning materials to students. It also encompassed technical development, project planning and management, liaison with the executive team, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

I am currently looking for a long-term role that I can grow in and commit to. Ideally this will be a mix of technical and leadership in an agile environment. I am constantly seeking out new ways to foster collaboration amongst my team as well as further my own professional growth. I am also open to freelance opportunities alongside this both in creative and web development.

Website Design and Build

This project involved building a website from scratch using React with a limited palette of black and gold as the primary colours. The development process included creating a visually stunning and user-friendly website that reflected the brand's personality and aesthetic.

In addition to design and development, the project also involved deployment, use of security certificates, custom domain redirection, and integration of external systems.

Overall, this project required technical expertise in web development, as well as experience in deploying and integrating external systems, to create a successful website that accurately reflected the brand's values and achieved its goals.
